United Sports Academy is proud to have a professional staff of instructors that are all safety certified by USA Gymnastics and have been involved in the sport at every level from beginner to Elite. Our staff strives to exceed every standard in the gymnastics industry.
| Dima Raynova is the owner of United Sports Academy and has been involved in gymnastics since 1972. As a Bulgarian National Team member, she competed in the 1980 Olympics. Dima holds a Bachelors degree in Physical Education and has coached beginner through level 10 gymnasts for the past 16 years. She contributed to the success of several Junior Olympic National qualifiers and medalists as well as gymnasts who received athletic scholarships to universities such as Rutgers, Michigan St and Temple. | ![]() |
| Omar Egas is a competitive team coach at United Sports Academy. He is a former Ecuadorian National and South American Champion. Omar has coached beginner to elite gymnastics for over 20 years. He has contributed to the success of several Junior Olympic National qualifiers and Medalists as well as gymnasts who received athletic scholarships to universities such as Rutgers, Michigan St, Temple, Kentucky and Northern Illinois. | ![]() |
| Colleen Cammerota is Office Manager and a recreational gymnastics instructor at United Sports Academy. Colleen graduated from Marywood with a Bachelors Degree in Advertising and Public Relations. She has been involved in gymnastics since the age of 5 competed levels 5-8 before the age of 12. During high school, Colleen was captain of her cheerleading team, where she put her gymnastics skills to use. She was also a 2-time UCA All-Star, from St. John the Baptist High School in Long Island. | ![]() |
| Brad Eisele is Class Program Manager at United Sports Academy and has been coaching here for the past 5 years. Brad is one of the pre-school instructors, recreational class instructors and the Rec-team coach. Brad helped bring the Keystone Extreme All-Star cheerleading team to Nationals, where they won twice. When not in the gym Brad spends his time singing and dancing with local studios and groups. He is currently working to build up the Acro program here at United Sports Academy. | ![]() |
| Michelle Mecca has been working here at United Sports Academy for the past 3 years as a recreational gymnastics instructor. She has been involved with the sport of gymnastics for the past 18 years either training or coaching. Michelle has coached children ages 18 months to 18 years of age recreationally or competitively. She also attended classes at the University of Massachusetts studying criminal psychology. When she’s not at the gym she loves doing outdoor activities including going to the park with her daughter Gabriella and son Ryan. | ![]() |
| Erik Elliot is a recreational gymnastics instructor. He has been teaching gymnastics for the past 12 years. Erik has 4 daughters, 2 of which were competitive gymnasts. He is an avid swimmer and skier and loves outdoor activities. | ![]() |
| Katie Firmstone is a competitive team coach and recreational gymnastics instructor at United Sports Academy. Katie was a club gymnast who then continued her gymnastics career competing at the collegiate level for the University of Pittsburgh. She has a BS Degree in Business & Psychology. Katie resides in Honesdale with her husband George and their four little gymnasts Abby, Emma, Julia and Jack. | ![]() |
| Kim Huegel is a Pre-school gymnastics instructor at United Sports Academy. She has been involved in gymnastics for the past 20 years. She began her gymnastics training in 1976 at the YMCA in Dunmore and competed on their team until 1983. Kim attended high school at Valley View. She competed on their gymnastics team all four years and was captain in her senior year. Kim has 2 daughters, 1 of which competes on the Rec-team. | ![]() |
Melissa Delfino is a Birthday Party and Summer Camp instructor at United Sports Academy. Melissa was a competitive gymnast and has over 20 years of gymnastics instruction experience. Melissa has a Bachelors degree in Physical Education and currently teaches at Academy Street in the North Pocono School District. She resides in Dunmore with her husband Joe and 3 children Sienna, Elisa Mia and Gianna. |

Stephanie Pannick is a recreational gymnastics instructor at United Sports Academy. She has been involved with gymnastics for the past 17 years and was also a competitive gymnast for United Sports Academy. Stephanie earned a gymnastics scholarship to Rutgers University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and Sports Studies. In 2006 Stephanie helped the Rutgers Gymnastics team win a national title and in her senior year was voted captain. She is now studying at the University of Scranton and working towards her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. |

Ivan Geuretchev is one of the competitive team coaches here at United Sports Academy. Born and raised in Sofia Bulgaira. Ivan has been involved in gymnastics from the age of 7. He competed elite gymnastics for the Bulgarian National team. He went to National Sports Academy College in Bulgaria for Physical Education. He later on explored his options as a gymnast and worked as an Acrobat for Ringling Bros. Circus. For the past 10 years he has worked with developmental gymnasts to elite. | Jessica Statsman is one of the recreational team coaches and class instructors at United Sports Academy. She started gymnastics when she was two years old and ended up training until the age of 13 ending as a level 9 gymnast. Because of gymnastics she was very successful at other high school sports such as diving, track and field and cheerleading. After graduating, she started teaching gymnastics in 1995 and has been coaching the sport ever since. | ![]() |
